DESCRIPTION of NEEDED SERVICES: Bathroom and shower modifications needed for a 9-year-old girl diagnosed with epilepsy and frequent seizure activity. Currently the shower has sliding glass doors that need removed and replaced with an attendant curtain so that her parent can quickly get to her daughter when she falls in the shower due to seizure activity. Also looking to replace the current shower with a roll in shower, with some shelving, so that there is no edge for her to hit her head on and made with the softest material possible in case she falls in the shower. Also, would like to explore sink options as the current sink, that is right next to the shower, has sharp edges. All faucets need temperature control devices. Lastly would like to explore options for the bathroom door to open into the hallway instead of into the bathroom so parent would be able to access the bathroom even if the individual fell due to seizure against the door.
