The LCBDD Provider Support Department offers training to Providers, which include:

  • CPR / First Aid (American Heart Association)
  • Medication Administration (Initial and Renewal)
  • Training Sessions in Topics identified to help meet the six hour Annual Training Criteria

Trainings are offered by the County Board as an option. Providers are not required to take training through the County Board. DODD offers free online training sessions to help Providers meet the requirements for initial certification/training and annual required training. Those trainings can be accessed through DODD MyLearning.

It is the Provider’s responsibility to maintain records of training(s) attended and completed.

More information regarding training offered by the County Board as well as training registration can be found on our Training Registration page.

Required Training

Providers are required to maintain training on an annual basis. It is the responsibility of the Provider to ensure they complete and maintain training as required. Details for required training can be found on the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities website.
