Providers help our County Board support individuals that receive Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Waivers in Lake County as well as individuals that receive ICF services. Our Provider Support department assists agency, independent, and ICF Providers to operate within the requirements of Medicaid and the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) to promote quality supports for individuals receiving services.
Support is available in the areas of:
- Initial Certification and Re-Certification for both Agency and Independent Providers
- Waiver Billing ‘How To’
- How to Document Services
- Training for CPR/First Aid, Background Checks, and Medication Administration Courses
- Individualized Consultation
- Mock Compliance Reviews and Assistance Preparing for Regulatory Reviews
We also offer comprehensive support to people interested in becoming Providers to ensure that they are equipped to be successful. In addition, our Provider Support department stays current on all relevant information, rule, policy and procedure updates to ensure Providers have timely access to the information.
