DESCRIPTION of NEEDED SERVICES: 44-year-old man who lives in Mentor needs modifications to his bathroom to increase independence and decrease unsafe situations posed by the current bathroom setup. A lift is recommended to replace the trapeze bar now being used to access the shower as the individual’s upper body strength is diminishing and unreliable. The lift would also replace the current grab bar set up for the toilet for the same reasons. OT recommendations are available for providers that are interested in providing a quote for this project.
