Art Celebration Speeches will leave you Speechless

You can’t help but smile and feel joy as you listen to the speeches that were given during the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities/Deepwood’s Community Art Celebration 2023 in celebration of March Developmental Disabilities Month.

More than 100 artists who are eligible to receive services from the county board submitted artwork that were displayed at the Great Lakes Mall throughout the entire month to showcase their creativity, talents, and individuality. The month ended with a celebratory event during which some of the artists shared perspective on their work of art.
