In accordance with Ohio Revised Code, the LCBDD programs and operations are governed by a seven-member board, of which five members are appointed by the Lake County Commissioners and two by the Lake County Probate Judge.

Board meetings are held in the LCBDD Administration Building located at 8121 Deepwood Boulevard in Mentor at 6:00 PM, unless otherwise noted.
A list of the schedule of meetings for 2026 can be found on the Board Meeting Summary Flyer. Meetings are subject to change due to operational need. Contact the County Board at 440-350-5100 to confirm meeting dates and times if you plan to attend.
