Recreation is good for the body and mind. Children over the age of six years and adults determined eligible for services and who live in Lake County can receive County Board recreational services—even if they are not receiving any other services at the time.

The Community Recreation Program explores various ways for individuals who have developmental disabilities to enjoy recreational activities and events designed to enrich a person’s life.

For additional information about recreation services, please call 440-350-5165 or email Recreation@LakeBDD.org. If you are interested in Lake County Special Olympics, visit www.LakeBDD.org/special-olympics-lake-county
