“Upon Margo’s birth with low muscle tone, concerns emerged about her potential to achieve developmental milestones in alignment with typical timelines. Acknowledging this, Margo’s pediatrician recommended Early Intervention Services. Under the dedicated care of her Early Intervention Occupational Therapist Kathy from the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Margo has made remarkable strides.

Through tailored therapies and individualized support, she has not only developed essential skills but has surpassed expectations. As her parents, it brings us immense joy to witness her progress and her newfound ability to successfully communicate her needs with us. We are profoundly thankful for the help and support that has played such a crucial role in Margo’s journey.”
