Event Description

Are you a Guardian appointed by the Probate Court?

If yes, you are required to obtain at least 3 hours of continuing education credits each year. We’re here to help! The Lake County Board of DD/Deepwood is now a Host Site for these classes and will present the courses as offered through the Ohio Supreme Court. We’re currently offering the following class: Medications and Medical Advocacy

As a guardian, you are often called upon to make decisions involving medical care. This course provides information about effectively managing medications, including questions to ask, tools to help you learn about specific drugs, and information about specific classes of drugs. It also provides an ethical framework that will help you understand your role as an advocate.

Attend one of the following classes:

November 30, 2021 – 1:00pm to 4:00pm
December 2, 2021  –  6:00pm to 9:00pm

Attend in person: Vocational Guidance Center ( VGC) Training Room, 8121 Deepwood Blvd, Mentor, Ohio 44060
