Our Agency is searching for Instructor Substitutes at Broadmoor School.

Essential Job Duties (not all inclusive):

  • Supervises assistants, interns, assigned volunteers, and others helping in the instructional program.
  • Provides instruction for assigned class of students who have developmental disabilities. Instruction includes all major areas of development, based upon the student’s IEP and curriculum.
  • Conducts assessments of each student’s current status in relation to the curriculum and IEP goals and objectives.
  • Develops systematic instructional procedures and methodologies for each student based on the IEP and individual learning characteristics of each student.
  • Implements instructional activities and procedures to attain individualized goal and objectives.
  • Designs activities to improve the performance of chronological age-appropriate and functional skills in as many school and non-school environments as possible.
  • Documents ongoing individual progress on each student’s IEP goals and objectives.
  • Modifies, as necessary, teaching methods, materials techniques, classroom organization, and other learning environments, to facilitate learning and goal attainment.

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Possess or be eligible for teaching license as required by ODE
  • Two (2) years experience working with children who have disabilities (can substitute for two (2) years college requirement)

 Hours & Job Location: 

As needed (hours may vary): Hours of operation Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Daily rate $130/day
