Broadmoor School Important Notice to Parents

Per CDC Guidelines and LCGHD guidance, any student that develops symptoms of COVID-19 including: FEVER OF 100.4 OR HIGHER, CHILLS, MUSCLE PAIN, HEADACHE, SORE THROAT, FATIGUE, CONGESTION, RUNNY NOSE, VOMITING, DIARRHEA, LOSS OF TASTE OR SMELL may NOT return to school until the following occur:

The student has had no fever for at least 24 hours (no fever without the use of medicine that reduces fever); AND

The student’s symptoms have improved; AND 

At least 10 days have passed since the student’s symptoms first appeared.

      – OR –

You have obtained a medical note clearing the student for return based on an alternative diagnosis; OR

You receive two separate confirmations at least 24 hours apart that the student is free of COVID-19 via acute testing test at an approved COVID testing location.

IF YOUR CHILD HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO A POSITIVE CASE OF COVID-19 AND IS SYMTOMATIC OR ASYMTOMATIC, PLEASE CALL THE SCHOOL WITHIN 24 HOURS AT 440-602-1000.

WE ARE TAKING EVERY PRECAUTION TO KEEP OUR STUDENTS AND STAFF SAFE AS WE CONTINUE TO PROVIDE IN PERSON INSTRUCTION. I APPRECIATE YOUR ASSISTANCE IN HELPING OUR SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY TO COMBAT THE SPREAD OF THIS VIRUS AND FOLLOWING OUR RECOMENDATIONS TO ACHIEVE OUR GOAL.
