Essay Contest 2022 Winners are Announced!

During Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month (March 2022), the Lake County Board of DD/Deepwood held an Essay Contest for local students to answer the question:

“Why is it important to stand side by side to promote inclusion of individuals who have developmental disabilities? “

We enjoyed having the winners of the Essay Contest attend our Board meeting on April 25, 2022 to read their essays. We are thankful to Deepwood Foundation for providing the prize baskets to recognize the winning entries and to all of the students who participated in the Essay Contest!
