Health & Welfare Alert: Summer Safety

The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities recently released an important Health & Welfare Alert: Summer Safety #02-06-26. Preparation is key to summer safety for people with developmental disabilities, so they can avoid health risks such as dehydration, sunburn, and water-related accidents.

You can always visit the Ohio DODD website to review various Health & Welfare Alerts at your convenience.

Health and safety are primary considerations for our County Board. We provide Emergency Intervention 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, and are required to immediately report Major Unusual Incidents (MUIs) and ensure proper notifications have been made in addition to safeguarding health and safety.
