“I have previously served on the LCBDD Board for 12 years. I am excited to do so again to continue to advocate for all individuals in Lake County served by the LCBDD so that they may be empowered to have the best quality of life possible and are given opportunities to work and enrich their lives and of those around them. Deepwood is a special place for special people and I would like to keep the community informed of its wonderful programs that help individuals achieve all that they can be and help others realize that all individuals can be successful in life.”
Sonja was a Mentor Public Schools teacher and a Special Education Teacher for 35 years and is a Trustee of the Mentor Public Library and has been a Laketran Board member. She is also involved in the Christ Child Society, the Lake County Historical Society and The Civil War Roundtable.
