Event Description
Meet the Advocate Skate Works team, watch a skateboard demo, and participate in fun activities during the Advocate Skate Works Open House that takes place on June 25, 2026 from 4:30 – 5:30 PM at the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities – Recreation Site located at 8121 Deepwood Boulevard (up the hill in Building F), Mentor, Ohio.
Participants who have developmental disabilities and are 5 years or older can register.
Advocate Skate Works’ mission is to break down barriers by providing skateboards, gear, and inclusive programming to empower and enrich the lives of people with disabilities in our community. They aim to invite them into a lifelong journey of growth and connection through skateboarding. Together, we can build stronger communities, one skateboard at a time.
