Volunteer services enrich the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and help foster greater community awareness. We’ve seen firsthand how volunteer involvement positively impacts not only the individuals we serve, but also our staff, our community, and the volunteers themselves.

Whether you’re young or young at heart, we have opportunities for you to get involved—and we’re always open to new ideas!

We offer flexible volunteer options to suit your schedule, whether you’re looking for a consistent commitment or something more occasional. Volunteers can participate in a variety of fun and meaningful activities, either one-on-one or in group settings, such as:

  • Crafting and painting
  • Playing sports
  • Dancing and singing
  • Attending recreational outings
  • Supporting Special Olympics
  • Participating in Broadmoor School activities
  • Assisting with special events

If you are interested in volunteering, please complete an Online Volunteer Form, call 440-350-5172 or email volunteer@LakeBDD.org.
