Participate in the Art Celebration 2022

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities/Deepwood is hosting an Art Celebration event for any Lake County resident eligible for County Board services.  Printable flyer is located here.

Showcase your artistic talents in celebration of individuality and creativity. We will display entries at the Great Lakes Mall during March for our community to enjoy and admire. We will also share a compilation video featuring the artwork on LakeBDD.org and on social media.

In order to participate, art must be:

· Original art (your own concept and not a copy of another artist), such as a drawing, mixed media, painting, photography, or textile

· Created by the artist who is submitting the art

· Submitted on a sturdy surface, framed, on canvas or cardstock

· Include a short bio about the artist

Entries are due by February 25, 2022. Drop off at the LCBDD/Deepwood, Building A, 8121 Deepwood Blvd, Mentor, OH 44060. Each participant will receive a certificate and prize.

NOTE: It will be at the discretion of the event committee as to which art will be displayed at the Great Lakes Mall. By submitting your art, you give permission for the County Board to display and loan to local community agencies, organizations, and business to promote awareness.
