Providing Job and Resource Options for Job Seekers & Quality Workers for Employers

Planning is underway for our upcoming Job & Resource Fair / Hiring Event taking place on October 15, 2025 in Lake County, Ohio. The Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities/Deepwood, in collaboration with Treasurer Michael Zuren and Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities, hope to see local employers and job seekers at the Mentor Public Schools (Paradigm) located at 6465 Center Street, Mentor, Ohio so that we can coordinate connections.

This is a FREE event that is open to the public where you can meet with representatives from many local businesses and organizations.

BUSINESSES — WE NEED YOU!

We are in need of employers to participate in the meet and greet and/or onsite interviews at the event. We are trying to confirm all employers by 9/24/25. About 85-100 job seekers come through the event, so it’s a great opportunity for an employer to meet a prospective employee! Here are the options for employers to participate:

  • 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meet and Greet only (no onsite interviews)
  • 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interviews only (no extra staff for meet and greet)
  • 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meet and Greet and another staff for interviews (requires at least two staff)
