Kaden Kicks it in Gear with Speech Therapy

It’s such a joy when families share how Early Intervention (EI) enriches their lives and empowers young children. As a Provider to the Ohio Statewide EI System, the focus of EI is to assist a family in meeting the unique needs of their child. Family-focused resources and supports are provided in naturally occurring learning environments, routinely at a child’s home.

Read below to hear from Ashley, Kaden’s mom, about how EI and supports from Developmental Specialists such as Melissa add some fun to therapy …  

“When the pediatrician told me that Kaden needed to see a speech therapist, I was not happy. I absolutely hated the idea of having someone come to the house to help with Kaden’s speech. After meeting Melissa, it took a couple times of her coming to the house for me to realize that it was actually pretty cool!

Melissa has helped Kaden’s speech so much. He now says ten times more words than he had before the therapy. Melissa is super sweet and fun; Kaden loves her! We appreciate your team and all the help. Kaden also deeply appreciates being chosen as kid of the month!“
