March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities (LCBDD) is proud to host an Art Walk in Downtown Willoughby to celebrate the creativity, talent, and unique perspectives of individuals who have developmental disabilities.
Artwork submitted by local artists will be showcased at participating businesses, accompanied by information highlighting the importance of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. People who have developmental disabilities contribute in meaningful and essential ways to the communities where we learn, work, and live. This event is a wonderful opportunity to recognize their achievements, support inclusion, and appreciate the diverse talents that enrich Lake County.
Art Walk Participation Requirements:
- Individuals must be eligible to receive LCBDD services
- Artwork must be original
- Artwork can be any drawing, mixed media, painting, photography, etc.
- All entrants must complete and submit an entry form with each artwork
- Artwork will not be returned unless requested prior to or at the time of art submission
Entries must be dropped off by February 27, 2026 at the LCBDD Vocational Guidance Center located at 8121 Deepwood Boulevard – Building C in Mentor, Ohio 44060 to the attention of Ashley Cozzens.
