Event Description
The Improvaneer Method uses improvisation to build skills that will greatly increase social, lifetime, and workplace opportunities for individuals who have developmental disabilities. Improv builds quick and easy thinking, listening focus, eye contact, teamwork, voice projection, problem solving, attention to detail, character development, plus an increase in self-confidence.
Individuals eligible for Lake County Board of DD services are invited to participate in the ImprovaGanza Workshop on October 21 from 1:00 – 4:00pm at Broadmoor School (8090 Broadmoor Road in Mentor).
What to expect:
- Hour 1: Intro to The Improvaneer Method: Dive into the world of improvisation and learn the basics of our unique method.
- Hour 2: Improv and Performance: Unleash your creative side as we explore improve and performance together.
- Hour 3: Showcase and Q&A: Show off what you’ve learned and take part in some entertaining improve games. We’ll also answer questions and share insights!
