Working Together to Make A Difference for Cyrus
Cyrus Music has been in Crossroads Health Early Intervention (EI) since he was one year old; now, he is almost three. Let’s hear from his grandmother, Kimberly Music, as she shared her thoughts on his journey with Broadmoor School’s Early Childhood Supervisor Liz Miller.
“Cyrus has come a long way. We started out with him not responding to look or touch at all, except once in awhile when he would laugh at a tickle. It was like he had no emotion. He couldn’t talk at all. He didn’t play with toys. He just walked or ran around making noises. Well, now he looks into our eyes, gives us hugs, brings his cup to us to refill, laughs all the time and plays with certain toys. He still doesn’t talk, but he has said a few words (but lost them). He has been diagnosed with autism. From the time we started Crossroads Health to now he has made so much progress and is so much happier. I just love Developmental Specialist Vicky Vivod and everyone involved with Cyrus’s case.”
We are so excited to share the gains that Cyrus has made; it sounds like he has come a long way!
“I’m so thankful for your organization,” added Kimberly about Broadmoor School’s EI Program. “I was so lost and didn’t know what to do. I appreciate all of your help.”
