DSP of the Year Goes to Charlotte Maditz!

We are so excited to recognize Charlotte Maditz as the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities / Deepwood’s Direct Support Professional (DSP) of the Year 2022! 

Charlotte works for Consumer Support Services and was nominated by Director Shelly Chapdelaine.  After finding out that Charlotte was selected as DSP of the Year, Shelly shared with us that …

“It is such wonderful news and exciting to hear Charlotte has been presented the DSP of the year award… although this doesn’t come as a surprise. For those who do not know, Charlotte has been a DSP for Consumer Support Services since 2009. Since day one, it has been clear that what she does is her passion. She is dedicated and selfless, putting our consumers first. She goes above and beyond in supporting and empowering others, encouraging their participation in everyday life and community activities so that they are living their fullest life. This is a well-deserved award and I can’t thank Charlotte enough for the job that she does. Congratulations.”
