Early Intervention Helps Willy Express Himself
Allison describes that Broadmoor School’s approach to early intervention (EI) services in a natural/home environment helped her son Willy. Let’s hear more of their story …
“Early Intervention is the strong foundation that helped our child flourish. With fresh ideas and strategies tailored to meet Willy’s needs, they’ve set our family up for success. I truly cannot express my gratitude enough.
Willy was born in March of 2020 just as the COVID-19 pandemic hit. After a short NICU stay due to jaundice, our family headed home and our adventure began. Willy was growing so fast! He became quite efficient at rolling all over the house. As the months flew by, we noticed Willy was hitting milestones late. Shortly after his first birthday we brought our concerns to Willy’s pediatrician and Early Intervention came into our lives.
With the help of Early Intervention, our once quiet and reserved boy has found so many ways to express himself. He has a passion for animals and loves listening to The Wonky Donkey. Willy is vibrant and doesn’t seem to slow down. He’s favorite phrase is “No Way!”. The progress he’s made is undeniable. Our family will forever remember all the Early Intervention staff that have helped Willy find his voice.”
