Samuel Takes Steps Forward with Early Intervention Services

Tabitha shared how Early Intervention (EI) Services have helped her son Samuel. Read below to learn more of their story …

Samuel has been with Early Intervention since he was approximately 15 months old. He started his EI journey due to being unable to stand, pull himself up, or walk. With the great guidance from Broadmoor School Specialist Jill Faber for physical therapy, instruction we could implement as a family, and the wearing of braces, Samuel is now a child who loves to be as active as possible.

We are now working with Broadmoor School Specialist Krystie Balcer for speech therapy. Samuel’s vocabulary is expanding and he is beginning to form two to three word sentences; which is an improvement from typically just pointing to what he needed or wanted.

We are so thankful for the services provided and Broadmoor School’s Early Intervention Program. Samuel has made great strides and has grown physically and intellectually.

We are so proud of Samuel and everyone involved in his journey! To learn more about EI services, please visit https://lakebdd.org/early-intervention-program/.
