Early Intervention Services Give Both Children and Parents Guidance

Addy’s mom Caitlin shared how Early Intervention (EI) Services through the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities / Deepwood helped her daughter. Read below to learn more of their story …

“Addy has received Early Intervention services since last year. Developmental Specialist Danielle came to our home and helped us. She taught Addy how to learn new things and worked on language. Broadmoor School’s Early Intervention Program also helped me get Addy into preschool so that she could continue to receive services.

When Addy was diagnosed with Autism, I did not know what to do. Danielle and the service coordinator Laura from Crossroads Health, really helped me figure out the next steps on how to help my daughter. I am grateful for everything that Early Intervention has done for Addy.” ~ Caitlin
