Jack Has a Knack for Work at Crostatas Pizzeria

The Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities/Deepwood believes in advancing opportunities for inclusive hiring. Today, we are excited to share Jack’s story with you! He is part of the team at Crostatas Pizzeria and thoroughly enjoys his job.

Restaurant owner, Dominic Argie, shares that Jack is the highlight of everyone’s week and he is very good at washing dishes and helping out around the restaurant in various ways. Crostatas believes inclusive hiring is magical and makes working at Crostatas a great experience for all.

The County Board’s Service & Support Administration team takes a person-centered approach to prepare and educate a job seeker through the process of obtaining employment. They also assist in the planning and monitoring of employment-related supports by Private Providers to reach desired outcomes.
