Our Agency is searching for a Community Relations Support Manager

Essential Job Duties (not all inclusive):
- Act as the liaison for internship applicants, facilitate background checks, and volunteer training, as
applicable for all internship candidates. - Recruit, interview, and screen community applicants for volunteer needs; facilitate background checks
and volunteer training for all prospective volunteers, as applicable; coordinate appropriate placements
with Agency program areas; Ensure activities have sufficient volunteers assigned. - Maintain and update volunteer records for community volunteers; track and report all Agency volunteer hours to The Community Relations Director as needed or requested. Track volunteers and hours to ensure proper training and orientation per the Volunteer Services Policy (A-9).
- Coordinate with Marketing team to gather swag needed for Agency volunteer/events and ensure they receive all stories, photos, and documentation needed from events as needed for marketing content.
- Prepare and track measurable data monthly for volunteer hours/activities and community events to be reported to the Community Relations Director.
- Work with Community Relations Director to plan and execute volunteer appreciation celebration for all Agency employee volunteers, community volunteers, and individual volunteers.
- Provide volunteer program in-service/training for Agency staff, as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Education, Marketing, Public Administration or related field.
- Prior experience in public administration, marketing, social media, event planning or volunteer services is preferred.
