Kim is a 2002 Kent State graduate, and subsequently a 2005 J.D. graduate of Case Western Reserve University. She currently works as a legal researcher for the Lake County Prosecutor’s office.

She has been a lifetime advocate for services/supports for individuals with developmental disabilities, including serving as President of disability organizations in college and currently serving on the Laketran Board of Trustees.
