Our Agency is searching for an Information Technology Director.

 Essential Job Duties (not all inclusive):

  • Lead IT department in project management, develop Agency’s project management procedures, mentor IT staff in project management methods, assist Agency CFO in oversight of all projects and manage a portfolio of projects.
  • Research, plan, cost justify and implement new technology solutions for Agency staff, in conjunction with Agency departments.
  • Direct, monitor, and maintain a comprehensive data security and compliance program including conducting periodic security risk assessments, network vulnerability scans, and leading the Agency’s formal IT risk management process, in conjunction with managed service provider, IT staff, and other Agency leadership.
  • Serve as the Agency HIPAA Security Officer and perform duties detailed in the “HIPAA Security Officer Duties” document.
  • Manage vendors from an IT security perspective to ensure the overall security of the Agency’s data, in conjunction with the Agency CFO and Legal Counsel.
  • Lead the Agency’s Disaster Recovery Team (DRT), including coordination with the managed services provider to architect the disaster recovery capability, create the Agency’s formal disaster recovery plan (DRP), conduct periodic drills with the DRT, perform periodic tests of the disaster recovery plan, and       perform updates of the DRP.  Ensure that the Agency’s information systems are resilient and support a  robust recovery capability in event of a disaster.
  • Lead the Agency’s Security Incident Response Team (SIRT), including creation of an Incident Response Plan, coordinating with the managed services provider to establish the appropriate systems, conduct periodic drills with the SIRT and other Agency personnel, and oversee the post-incident documentation  and continuous improvement.

 

Minimum Acceptable Characteristics/Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, with knowledge of the PC’s, data processing, and electronic communications.

Experience: 5-8 years experience in Information Technology, 2 years must include supervision/management activities.

Hours & Job Location: 

  • Full Time 8 AM – 4 PM, Monday– Friday in Mentor, Ohio 44060
