Are you a Guardian appointed by the Probate Court? If yes, you are required to obtain at least 3 hours of continuing education credits each year. We’re here to help! The Lake County Board of DD/Deepwood is now a Host Site for these classes and will present the courses as offered through the Ohio Supreme Court. Topic for June 2024: Advocacy and Conflict Resolution. You can select from three courses to examine some common scenarios to demonstrate concrete steps guardians can take to advocate and resolve conflicts for their wards. Attend in person: Vocational Guidance Center ( VGC) Training Room, 8121 Deepwood Blvd, Mentor, Ohio 44060. RSVP to Mary Hurley at 440-350-5131 or mary.hurley@lakebdd.org.
