In accordance with Ohio Revised Code, the LCBDD programs and operations are governed by a seven-member board, of which five members are appointed by the Lake County Commissioners and two by the Lake County Probate Judge.

Board meetings are held in the LCBDD Administration Building located at 8121 Deepwood Boulevard in Mentor at 6:00 PM. unless otherwise noted.
